Edzell Castle and Garden, Angus, Scotland

It is no wonder this majestic walled garden has been dubbed as one of Scotland’s most unique sites. Created all the way back in 1604, the delightfully formal garden is scattered with sculptured stone panels, quaint flower boxes, and miniature nooks made specifically for nesting birds. Inquisitive visitors can explore the original summer house, as well as the 16th century tower house and ancient family burial vault.
