Nazli just stood out to me in a sea of tourists and hurried/harried Londoners (her hair colour! her neutral/natural make-up!). The fact that she was holding a map of course gave her away as a visitor. It turned out that she is from Turkey. Now, I have made a few friends who are Turkish, or of Turkish descent, who have been lobbying me to visit the country, especially Istanbul. Garance has done a series of posts around a recent trip there, and everything that I have read and seen in pictures is inspiring. It may finally be time to hop on a plane and see this magical place for myself!
I quite like the different textures and shades of black you can see here, too:)

turkey especially istanbul is the new destination among the traveling crowd. used to be berlin just recently but the new money and increasing number of the young educated oil-rich from this part of the world have made it an exciting destination.
turkey is one of a kind – it's uniquely situated at a cross roads between europe and the middle east. the best of both worlds culturally and economically speaking.

Wow, she sure is striking in a subtle way (hm…oxymoron?). Love the textures of her outfit, especially that scarf! Gorgeous photo!
