She’s definitely the coolest new girl on the block.  Azealiea Banks has been on my radar ever since her single “212” blew up both my Twitter timeline and my radio last year, and her music has been on the lips of everyone from fashion folk to hip hop heads.  I was lucky enough snap Azealia when she attended the Topshop AW12 show, as well as to see her perform live at Topshop‘s London Fashion Week party in February.

Azealia is so well-spoken (check her out on BBC’s Sounds of 2012), and with her megawatt smile, style (did you see her at the Met Gala?), and unmistakeable talent and sassy sound, she is bound to go far.  Her EP “1991” is out now.
