There are few collaborations that have captured my imagination or resurrected memories of my visual arts student days more than the one between Louis Vuitton and renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Last week, I was lucky enough to have been given a talk through and tour by Louius Vuitton of the each of the 24 windows and the Selfridges installation space, as well as be one of the first to see the 6m tall statue of Kusama herself perched above the main entrance to the historic shopping emporium.

I am always keen to see how things work and how they come together (as I’m sure you are too!), so I’m very happy to share one of Louis Vuitton’s short behind-the-scenes films of the transformation of Selfridges Concept Store into an extension of Kusama’s seeminging infinite spread of the message of”Love Forever”. Be sure to click here for the making of all 24 of the Kusama Selfridges windows. And, don’t forget to watch how the giant Yayoi Kusama that is currently residing above the entrance to Selfridges came to life. Enjoy!
